Postdoc Position Application 2021

 The Transforming Antennas Center (TAC) at Florida International University (FIU) announces a postdoc position.

Professor Georgakopoulos, Directors of TAC, is looking for a highly motivated and self-driven individual with strong background in antennas, RF systems and/or electromagnetics that would like to work on cutting-edge research projects in areas related to antennas, wireless power transfer, biomedical applications of RF and antenna systems, and electromagnetics.

The postdoc will work on cutting-edge research projects led by Prof. Georgakopoulos.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on antennas, RF systems and/or electromagnetics.
  2. Expertise of electromagnetic simulation software, such as, HFSS, Designer, ADS.
  3. Strong record in journal and conference publications in the areas of antennas, RF systems and/or electromagnetics.
  4. Strong academic record on courses related to electromagnetics, fields & waves, antennas, RF design, microwave engineering or related courses.
